Caryn Goldsmith, Internet Research
Caryn is responsible for all Internet based research at GMR. Her areas of expertise include strategic planning, corporate positioning, promotional planning and execution, customer experience optimization in website development, and account planning.
Prior to joining GMR, Caryn was V.P., Research & Planning for Full Moon Interactive, and was one of the key people responsible for growing a web development start-up venture from $300,000 per year in sales to more than $24 million in sales. Additionally, she was responsible for all aspects of Customer Experience in the brand/client relationship-development process. Her list of accounts include Caesars Casinos and Resorts, Sony Online Entertainment, Variety, Universal Studios, Oral-B/ Gillette, Edison International, Citigroup Private Bank, Cal Fed Bank and subsidiaries, City National Bank, Silicon Valley Bank, Dell Computers, Canon Software, Docent, Knowledge Adventure.
Prior to Full Moon, she was an Associate Research Director at Della Femina, McNamee, WCRS for two years, where her accomplishments included marketing and advertising strategic planning across a broad array of clients like Carl's Jr. Restaurants, Sanwa Bank, California Federal Bank, Six Flags Magic Mountain, KCET, Jiffy Lube, Advantage Life, Revo (sunglasses) and Epyx (computer game equipment).
Caryn also worked with Denny's Inc., and Foote, Cone & Belding LA is various research and strategy role. She has a B.A in Psychology from University of California, Los Angeles and has been a professional member and Chairperson of Entertainment marketing Department in of American marketing Association.
